Charitable Outreach
This serves as a kind of billboard to post needs & availabilities, and help match the two.
If you have a pathway to charitable giving for all members to consider,
preferably one you are directly involved in, we'll post it here.
Please notify Leslie Sharpe (leslie.a.sharpe@icloud.com)

Donations for people in need...............

If you are needing a tax receipt, please create the your own document, bring it with you to the meeting and ask the receiving member for his/her acknowledgment. Please be aware that only qualified charitable organizations (501(c) for tax purposes) can issue receipts that are acceptable to the IRS and state revenue authorities. The receiving member may not meet that qualification.

Member Ron and wife Bea Hasselmann are members of St. John's Lutheran Church, which contributes weekly to the Grace Temple food shelf. They also serve on Grace Temple's Homeless Ministry Team.

  • Contributions of blankets, sleeping bags, coats, mittens/gloves, hats, scarves, socks, and towels are donated by Ham and Eggs Club members, Giebenhain Dental staff and clients, and many other friends.
  • Rev. Glarushia Davis and the Hasselmanns deliver food and the above mentioned supplies weekly to the many homeless people living under the Metro area bridges.
  • Food items and other items are also given to the people at Harbor Lights (Salvation Army).
  • To give, please notify Ron and bring your goods to Ron at Ham and Eggs. Ron will do the rest. 612-209-5888 or   952.933.5559.

Member Leslie Sharpe said "I for one am willing to take good stuff anybody brings in,
and personally transport it to Mount Olivet for Pastor Scott to distribute.
Many others probably could offer similar routes to Service through Charity".
Les
will make delivery to Mount Olivet Church in your name.
